Fair Trade Week

It is Fair Trade week in our school this week! We are learning all about Fair Trade. This is for our Global Citizenship Litter and Waste flag.

This is the Fair Trade Logo. If you see this logo on the food you buy in the shops, it means the workers were paid fairly for it.

We are also learning about where the bananas we eat come from and how they get to our shops in Ireland

Have a look in our school at our display all about bananas!

You can buy lots of Fair Trade products in the shops. You just need to see the Fair Trade logo on them. The teachers in our school are drinking Fair Trade tea and coffee for Fair Trade week too!
