Welcome back to all our Students, Parents and Staff. We hope you had a lovely Summer and wish you the best for the coming year. A special welcome to our new Early Start and Junior Infant children and their families. Wishing you and all new members of the St. Brigid’s Infant School Community a happy and memorable new year.
It is Fair Trade week in our school this week! We are learning all about Fair Trade. This is for our Global Citizenship Litter and Waste flag.
This is the Fair Trade Logo. If you see this logo on the food you buy in the shops, it means the workers were paid fairly for it.
We are also learning about where the bananas we eat come from and how they get to our shops in Ireland
Have a look in our school at our display all about bananas!
You can buy lots of Fair Trade products in the shops. You just need to see the Fair Trade logo on them. The teachers in our school are drinking Fair Trade tea and coffee for Fair Trade week too!

Welcome back to all our returning children and parents and I would like to welcome all our new families joining us this year. I hope that you and your children will enjoy being a part of St. Brigid’s.

Your child will bring home a classes and courses brochure this week. If there are any classes in the local schools that you would like to attend please fill in the information section on the brochure and return to me or to your child’s teacher. The courses are available to parents, grandparents and families.
